SHOULD I CONVERT MONEY TO PESOS, TO HAVE CASH WITH ME?Yes, I would recommend having some cash on you, especially if you decide to venture on your own and for shopping at the market. We will have lots of opportunities to explore! Mexico accepts USD currency, however I would recommend bringing Mexican Pesos. Your local bank or money exchange store near you, should be able to exchange to MXN Pesos. Try to avoid exchanging at the airport...they usually have a horrible exchange rates. Most places do accept major credit cards and debit visas. You don't to bring a ton of cash with you. All their major banks have ATM's that do offer great exchange rates, to take out cash.

Commonly known as FMM (Forma Migratoria Múltiple), this is a mandatory requirement for all travelers who visit the country, including Canadians.
